I have a friend from Alabama who was out in the uk as we were walking around he said " whats that thing you guys use to boil water again ...." a kettle ? " , Yeah ill have to get one when i go back home . I contacted him after he got back to make sure he wasnt burned as a witch . His family was a bit bewildered at this " kettle " but now they love it

As an American, I do not own a microwave. Tea is made with a kettle in my house. Im making tea now...lol

I am American and I make tea like a normal person, boil water in a kettle, pour the water into the cup with a tea bag or loose leaf in one of those tea holder things then I take the teabag or loose leaf out after it's done steeping and then add sugar and milk if its black tea or only sugar if it's herbal tea. I hope most Americans make it like that
