Story is biased. Futre signed only if he had the10 and they agreed. Not giving him afterwards was to try and be smart asses, so he fcked them over. Fair.

By the way I've heard Paulo Futre's side of this story... Long story short, he played as the number 10 since his second year as a senior at 18y.o. at Porto (when he joined them from Sporting). And when he signed with WH, it was written in his contract that he would wear the number 10 shirt... But when he arrived nr 10 was taken and they assigned him the nr 16 shirt which he didn't accept.

Futre was an Athletico Madrid legend! His fifa card was 91
