"Revision to the earlier rule... new rule!" 📉🇬🇧 In 1940, Britain removed station signs to baffle potential Nazi invaders. The Narrative Breakdown: The Sign Removal: The real historical tactic used to disorient German paratroopers. 📉🤔 The Anthem Test: Why not knowing the lyrics to God Save the King made you a suspect. 🔊🎶 The Whispering Protocol: The conductor’s hilarious attempt to keep station names "top secret." 📉🧤 The Polite Paratrooper: A very British end to a very German invasion. 🛑🤣 Do you think you’d pass the "God Save the King" test under pressure? The point was to make it more difficult. Obviously said German would eventually figure out where he was. But this way he couldn’t immediately orient himself. Also it was really more for a potential invasion force.

Don’t think the german could figure out where they were even if they announced the station, I mean who would ever think Glen-nich and Greenwich are actually the same place
