That "packed and dinners" thing set me off like a sleeper agent. I completely forgot that we did that but we 100% did! Couldn't tell you why because our school wasn't as small as Josh's, probably just so they knew how many they were cooking for.

I've noticed that a lot of the times when it's true, whoever it is is able to make a joke about it. Like his wagamama's joke; if it were a lie, it'd be much harder to sell that kind of joke as a joke

I believed him instantly. My mum had seven people in her whole SCHOOL during her primary. Somehow, her year had three people. But there were only two classrooms, obviously. Edit: I commented that before they brought up the Welsh. Yep, my mum is Welsh.

When I moved to Edinburgh, my parents talked about sending me to a school outside the city with only 8-10 kids for the entire school

David's joke about class size and attention ACTUALLY HURT ME lol. I did correspondence schooling and my parents hired a backpacker to be our tutor. I was the "smart kid" of the family (I'm NOT smart just fucking auDHD) so I was left to educate myself while my brothers got all the tutor's help

My school out in rural Sweden had a kindergarten and grade F (age 6) to 6 (age 12). Together we were just over 40 kids. That’s an average of 5 per year… the school rented out a full wing so the village could have a grocery store that didn’t take 25min to drive to😂

Yep, i briefly went to a tiny village school in Devon in the mid 80s and there were only about 15 kids in the whole school 😊
