I just went through this today! I touched JS for the first time and had to sit with myself and wonder if I was the problem. Thank you 😢

Definitely me right now! 😂 Html/CSS was a breeze to comprehend vs. Javascript. But I'm going to keep at it! 💪🏾

Biggest tip I can give is just try to take the pressure off yourself to understand every bit of it at first! Play around with the bits you're confused about in isolation (like an online interpreter like Programiz) and say outloud to yourself what's going on. Also jump into mini-projects of your own BEFORE you're fully 'ready' and have fun with it! Feeling a bit confused is the typical programmer experience, so don't take it as a sign to stop. Good news is: The hardest part about a lot of programming languages is developing the logic behind how to solve stuff, not so much the syntax specific to the language! So once you develop that muscle in one language (JavaScript), it tends to translate pretty well!

Lol very accurate. They say the coding doesn't begin until you hit your first wall in JavaScript because that's where implementation of coding principles begin. Just take it one day at a time. One lesson at a time. Write down or type out what's confusing the error and then go read and watch a few tutorials on that issue and then solve it 10 to 20 times and then teach it
