great video.. I think China will dominate the market with their cheap powerful LLMs and the open source models with keep up with the frontier models.

I see local models will make more sense, ai cant make decisions, legacy code is doomed if you add ai to messy old code base. on brand new development with narrow rules and architecture in place, very useful. but also limited, never can trust it. one update away from disaster, or using auto permissions and claude goes crazy allowing itself anything. frontend is cooked, juniors hand code.
