How's the first resume a nightmare to Read when it clearly is more readable than the format you are pushing?? Not trolling, just a genuine question
How about someone very senior with a lot of projects and impact. My resume is very dense. I feel like if I follow your format it will miss some things.
The problem with quantifying the business values for each and every thing is that as devs working on a regular SaaS web application, there's absolutely nothing we can put as a "quantity". E.g. I can only say I implemented JWT Bearer token auth or API-key auth , but I cannot say how much "value" that provided to the company. I cannot say I implemented JWT Bearer token auth which helped the website to become "80%" more secure than it was when it used an API-KEY auth. Or, I can say I worked on AWS services like SQS, SNS, Lambda etc. for distributed message architecture, but cannot quantify the business values 🙏 Tech interviews and recruitment processes are just broken in this day and age due to the oversupply. We all just have to accept it. 😑
Wouldn't it be a good idea to use the summary to explain a career change though?
Why would you use humans for manual HR reviews if the only thing you do is search for relevant keywords in the resume? Probably should automate it to reduce workload on HR.
Can you elaborate on what do you mean by "Where do you did it?" when you describe how bulletins should be to qualified as qualification?
Why not bold the keywords? You say you give it 15 seconds to find the keywords but you also say dont bold anything except the section headers
because most jobs dont post real ads they just like to make it looks like there hiring.
Also for career changes, can we just have CV with only projects, no experience.
