ONE DOG. ONE GIRL. ONE BRUTAL PUNCH. π€π₯ | Skin (2018) Breakdown "You don't throw things at kids. Ever." π€π§ In one of the most unexpectedly heartwarming and then instantly EXPLOSIVE scenes in the powerful short film Skin, a hardened, tattooed outsider named Bryon shares a quiet moment of kindness with a little girlβthen unleashes hell on the man who tries to ruin her joy. π WATCH the FULL, emotional scene breakdown NOW! π π¬ SCENE BREAKDOWN: From Gentle to VICIOUS Bryon (Jonathan Tucker) is a man covered in hateβwhite supremacist tattoos, a violent past, a cold stare. He walks through a small-town fair with his beloved dog. Everyone avoids him. Everyone judges him. Until a little girl walks up. ππ« The MEETING: The girl, maybe seven years old, reaches out to pet his dog. Bryon tenses. But the dog wags its tail. The girl LAUGHS. And for one brief, beautiful momentβBryon smiles. He helps her pet the dog, speaks softly, acts HUMAN. π₯ΉπΎ The PERFORMANCE: Later, the same girl takes the stage to sing. Her voice is small, sweet, innocent. The crowd claps. Thenβa CRUSHING sound. An empty can of cheap beer lands at her feet. Thrown by a drunk man in the crowd. The girl freezes. She looks down. The crowd goes silent. π¨π€ The SNAP: Bryon's face doesn't change. He just MOVES. He walks through the crowd, grabs the man by the collar, and plants a single, devastating PUNCH directly into his face. The man drops like a sack of rocks. Blood on the grass. Silence everywhere. π€π©Έ The AFTERMATH: Bryon doesn't speak. Doesn't explain. He just turns and walks away. The girl's family pulls her off stage. The drunk man groans on the ground. And Bryon? He disappears back into the crowdβstill hated, still feared, but for one moment: a HERO. π¦ΈββοΈπ π Why This Scene Is POWERFUL βοΈ The CONTRAST β One moment, gentle with a child. The next, VIOLENT with a coward. βοΈ The DOG β Animals don't see tattoos. They see SOULS. βοΈ The SINGING β Innocence shattered by a beer can. It's INFURIATING. βοΈ The PUNCH β Instantly satisfying. No dialogue needed. βοΈ The TRAGEDY β Bryon will never be accepted. But in this second, he didn't need to be. He did what was RIGHT. π DEBATE IN THE COMMENTS! π Was Bryon's punch justified, or did he go too far? π€π¬ Can one act of kindness erase a lifetime of hate? Disrespecting kids like that gets you smacked everywhere
You may be a criminal But a lil lady calling you sir Makes you feel special
Everyone knows kids are neutral. Its a law of the universe that no matter what side youre on, you never mess with children
Just be cause you're a badguy doesn't mean you're a bad guy
It's never too late to stand up for what you believe in.
"You sure as hell better not be boss." Sure, she let the little one run off for a bit, but she was ready to go full momma bear on anyone if need be. Gotta respect that.
Dude, it's the best feeling when a little kid smiles at you. That little kid is innocent, and they're happy to see you. You can never let anyone hurt that kid.
Child innocence can melt the coldest man into a puddle of tears
I like that he stood up for that little girl who didn't judge him. He stood up in such a brutal way because he knew who he was dealing with.
As a young single mom of two I moved into my first house. Neighbor was a tough biker! I was so scared! Ended up best neighbor ever! Caught my stalker in my drive way, kept him there until the police came. Told the guy "Next time you bother this young lady, They'll have to dig you up!". He's since passed away from an asthma attack. Jody, I'll always love you!
Tron was very disrespectful, the girls were brave to sing and Tron deserved his ass handed to him.
That's from a kind place in his heart that still existsππ
His moral code and quick retribution was Boss Level
My sister fell in love and married a long hair Harley Davidson riding tattoo covered man. He was the nicest most respectful man I've ever had the pleasure of meeting. His friends for the most part acted the same. My girlfriends family were church going Bible thumpers ... mean and nasty people..never judge a book by its cover.
I remember I saw a guy who looked just like that in a grocery store, and he was right in front of the product I was looking for. As a black woman I was worried; but, I asked if he saw the product anyhow. He was the nicest guy. That was 30 years ago - and I never forgot it. Don't judge a book by its cover.
I was a bad person in my 20s. A violent criminal skin head like him. I've since changed. But I swear if anyone did what that dude did, every single one of the people I ran with would have hospitalized him. That shit doesn't happen.
No one disrespects Little childern Thats why he got his azz handed to him
Honor among thieves. Everyone knows you don't mess with children. Big dude got exactly what he needed. A "friendly" reminder. π
As someone who has been to these sorts of events, no guy would yell at young children like that. Hed basically be banished
Skin (2018) Damn good movie. Emotional rollercoaster.
