Got to my delivery early and had a few hours to kill, so instead of sitting in the truck doing nothing, I jumped on the e-bike and went for a midweeek Toby Carvery. Thatβs the beauty of having a folding e-bike in the truck β you can get out, explore the area, grab some food and still make it back before your booking time. My Uncle Jack was a lorry driver back in the 60's, 70's and 80's I was born in 1961 and have many happy memories of when he took me for days out 'as his co-driver' I found it all very exciting and the truckers I met in the greasy spoon cafΓ©s really were a lovely bunch. I got the same bike I do the same thing but I'm a musician, it's great to get on the bike and go round the towns on your time away from it all. Keep safe on the road bud.
