You've reached the end
The heat alone is what broke it loose the crayon had nothing to do with it every mechanic knows the heat the bolt trick
You can clearly see none of the crayon made it to the threads
You’ve pissed me off enough to make me comment. Good job. Everybody else in here is saying what i came to type already
Buy heat induction for nuts and bolts and save yourself time
Did anybody else notice the fact that he broke the bolt not the nut
"Cant be tight of its a liquid" is always my go to.
A candle 🕯️ works great too.
Why dude always yelling at us 😂
Works great dunno what these comments are about, most of these people probably havent dealt with this in their life, Capillary action for those who dont know is why the crayon works, it's a trick that's been around for decades. Give this man a break ✌️
Does not work. Project farm proved this.
None of you were ever a marine, no marine would ever put a crayon in danger.
I’ve tried this and it works….people saying it’s the heat that made it work…bs….literally could not get the nut to budge until I applied wax from a crayon or a candle…the wax pulls itself into the threads and breaks the rust bond
That phenomenon is called capillary action
The problem is corrosion between the nut and bolt. Heat breaks corrosion by thermal expansion. Applying enough heat for long enough will expand the steel which breaks the corrosion. Allowing it time to cool the parts will return to normal size but the corrosion has been separated from the fasteners resulting in normal fastener tension allowing you to remove them by hand tools.
Somewhere there's a starving Marine that would've loved to have that crayon!
That was a trick back in the 50s and 60s
Seeing that the marines had a tank with a missle platform i can see why they are known to eat crayons.
Specifically the blue ones work the best
What a colorful idea 😁
Some marine is crying seeing this😂😂😂
