I’m a victim of these vibration. I’ve driven for like 80km long in a single go and mounted my iPhone 12 with a generic phone holder and when I arrived at the destination, took my phone out, it was making weird sound and that was coming from camera. When I opened the camera it was all shaky and blur and I’ve understood that OIS got damaged. Please do not ever put any OIS camera phone on the bike mount as it’ll surely destroy it. You may not notice for short distances. Anyway I had to get the complete camera module replaced.
Do I have a bike? No Did I watch the full video? Yes...😅

with all these screens it's always the same issue for me. when i park somewhere, i do not want to carry around a second screen with me. a 2nd phone or this kind of touch screen. it will just be such a hassle especially for casual rides like a meet with friends and etc. i honestly think it's best to just get a smart watch (i have the OnePlus Watch 2) and use that as the screen for Maps and music control and also calls. for rides where i know the route, it's on my wrist. for longer and unfamiliar rides where i might need to check Maps sometimes, i keep the watch strapped to my phone mount. i just wrap it around it. and then i also do not have to worry about needing extra pocket space or anything because after the ride i just strap it to my wrist as normal and that's it.

This device only shows routes for Cars since this is Android Auto/ Carplay. For bike riders it won't show bike routes which is not convenient enough or straight up useless in some places because bikes aren't allowed in car routes.

The screen is rebranded version from local workshop. And there are companies like simtech which offers much more feature in same price like easier mount and unmount. Plug and play not these weird connectors.
