I will tell you all and this is an absolute fact. Super Hunky from dirt bike magazine changed tire and Tube without removing the wheel. This was in the early 1980s and it was on a 760 Maico at the blackwater 100. It was a tire changing contest. He actually had the tube and the tire with velcro straps on them. Was almost record-breaking time but it didn't quite stay on. Don't believe me, check it out for yourself. I believe it was in 1983 but not completely sure maybe 82 or 84
