I think It should be okay with an aerodynamic roof racks from the manufacturer. I got one from KIA for sportage, didn’t see mich difference in mileage, except some wind noise. May be different depends on the general aerodynamics of the car. Generally it is not recommended unless you carry some luggage on the top.

It's a boxy vehicle so the drag from that roof rail can be neglected. Try on a 100 km with roof rail and without it thts make more sense I belive
