I don't mind the 6 agains but I would hope that the refs would at least yell out the reason for the 6 again just for transparency. Also, I reckon if it's within your 20 or opposition 20,that it just be a penalty, anywhere outside of those parameters, the 6 again is all good. Just my opinion 🤷.
The game was better with the back and forth arm wrestle.. 1st one to make a mistake gives the other a chance to score.... these 6 agains have ruined the game.. if it's a penalty just blow a penalty..

The impact of the 6 again rule is way overblown. If you look at the stats before 2020, there’s only been a 4 point difference in average points scored per game.
I just wonder how guys like Alfie and Joey would go in the modern game 18 shots at someone’s line and you’re not allowed to tackle them. Just crazy what those guys would do.
I disagree, this isn’t enjoyable like yesteryear, we may as well be watching touch football. When a try was scored teams deserved it, now it’s purely because the opposition had a defensive lapse because of being overworked for 3 or 4 restarts in a row. Restarts should only be in the oppositions quarter. Slowing the game down with kicks in touch are missed. 😞
