It’s really funny how little physicality the sabers have considering how ABSOLUTELY GIGANTIC their whole roster is.

The Habs came out insanely flat in the 1st period of game 1 and it cost them that game. They've now been BY FAR the better team in the 8 periods since then. This team is SCARY

2 minutes for running Dobeš is insane. Where is the department of player safety? Where is the incentive to not run goalies in game 1 and put them out for the series?

This is why Buffalo got hurt by an easy first round, while the Habs got all the jitters out after the 7 game fight.

When you have to run the goalie you know it’s a sign that you’re done.

Even if the Sabres lose the series, it’s still a successful season. Atlantic Division Champs, ended a 15 year playoff drought, and won a playoff series for the first time in nearly 20 years…but it’s not over yet. Let’s see if we can come back in this series. Go Sabres!

The funniest part of that game: the Sabres had SO MANY ""lucky"" breaks from referee Garrett Rank tonight ,( who seriously looked like he had somewhere else to be and had a bus to catch ) and it didnt even come close to making a difference

I was saving for a world cup game with my friends, but that idea seems to have died. If this goes six, i might spend my may long weekend on the other side of the country in Montreal. Too much of a vibe in that stadium not to try and go to one playoff game

Habs for the cup

Both teams are young and neither have a lot of playoff experience. Going through a tight and gruesome 7 game trench war against a more experienced team like Tampa might have been a Blessing in disguise for Montreal.

I don't know how anybody can think the run at dobes wasn't on purpose. They were losing and he's montreal's most consistant player

Sabres are frauds. Straight BELT to ASS, two games straight

Buffalo acts though the whole game but when it's time to drop the gloves, they shrink up. That's clearly not what a Stanley Cup winning team looks like

Sabres played like a team who knows the only way they win is through cheap bullshit. Not a sign of confidence.
