During COVID-19, I travelled to oyo to my parent, so they registered me in one tailor shop like that. Jesus, these people's tongue are full of negative utterance, they even compliment themselves using those word, imagine greeting your best friend and saying; bawo ni oloribu ore mi, Ori re yi ni and a lot more even worse. Even the boss says this to the apprentice, the moment I realized this I just hoped that none of them would address me in those language but it never happened not until a day when one of them said something abusive to me, she has made attempt many times to disrespect me just because I was the last apprentice at that time but I never gave room for it, she even way younger than I am. She started shouting on me this day just because I called her to come and pack the dirty plate out because the shop was smelling for the leftovers and I volunteered to wash with her but she wanted me to wash all of it, the plate I didn't use any of it😂. I kept quiet while she was shouting not until she said one abusive word, I didn't know how I lifted my hand to slap her😩, everyone looked towards us and was surprised, I left the whole thing for her to deal with and didn't even try to explain myself to the other seniors, I wasn't proud to do that but I'm happy I did because things changed from her end from that day😂 And the day I told my boss okay ma and she said; iwo loo kee, I laughed at the moment but taught about it later and rejected it in Jesus name. Since I didn't have the mind to say those words I replied them saying they are not normal and it almost became part of me that even when I left oyo, I said it to my cousins whenever they provoked me, my uncle noticed the new me and warned me and that was how I totally stopped. The environment we find ourselves, the friends we keep, people we talk to and the ones we live with usually make a change or influence in our way of living, and for some of us who finds ourselves among people who are used to these things and just because you don't do the same , you feel like a stranger or excluded, sometimes they even say it to you and you don't have the power or mind to stop them, just keep asking the Holy Spirit to help because it will be very difficult being different among many people. Dealing with that right now, I just want to live and be with people who would guide me in the way of the Lord because I'm already struggling trying to be different but it just get difficult day by day but God is in control

:43... It actually irritates me when "friends" converse with curse words. I CANNOT even stand it. I'm never comfortable around people who speak with negative words for "fun" or jokingly. Abeg don't joke nonsense joke around me.

You're stu....ermm, God bless you. That's how to implement immediate change. If you catch yourself saying the wrong thing, stop it and say the right. It gets easier with time. Thanks Aima and Pastor Lawrence...❤❤❤
