You've reached the end
Did u know... That it's most likely 1/4". That's the standard for a hex quick connect - like on a drill.
Am i the only one with an Allen wrench set??,
little bits of info like this are gold. appreciate ya bro
Can guarantee you my 10mm hex key socket, the shaft is a 10 mm not an 8mm. So not all allans
I feel like this is one of those things you just figured out and can't wait to tell everyone. We all have those moments.
Maybe the engineers thought a normal mechanic could figure this out without having to make a video about it π
Cannot wait to go to work and try to fit an 8mm wrench on my h14.
Not all... Just that brand... did you know?
I remember my first day
Real brain buster right thereπ
Or... or... just hear me out. You could turn the wheel
8mm / 5/16"
But also just turn the wheel and use your impact.
You can also buy a low profile bit ratchet.
Hereβs a real mind blowing one. Itβs also quarter inch.
Wait until there's such a small gap you have to cut a piece off your allen key to undo it. Then you lose that bit and the same model is in, cut the allen key again for another bit.
OR, OR, a standard metric hex key, MAYBE???
Engineers expected the mechanic to be able to find the steering wheel π π€¦π½ββοΈ
Or you could get the bit set without the socket heads and get a ratcheting bit wrench
I remember the first time I used the ratcheting end of my wrench to bust a bolt free and the gears in my wrench broke first π still got the scar across my knuckles
