Ultimate Car Hoarding // The Rarest, Longest, Narrowest and Smallest Cars in the World. In this special episode Jonny Smith visits the Isle of Man's Transport Museum for a special tour. The museum began as a private collection of one man and his son - Dennis and Darren Cunningham. 10 years ago they decided to build a bespoke space to house all 500+ cars, motorcycles and commercial vehicles. This is most definitely one of the quirkiest collections of vehicles in existence. From GT40 to tank, to bubble car to presidential limousine. You have never seen a 'garage' like this before. I believe the gentleman showing Johnny around is Steve Glynn. I think we would all like to thank him for his courteous approach and encyclopedic knowledge.
Thank you Jonny, it was great to show you around and share some of the stories behind the collection. You are most welcome to return anytime and cover any of the vehicles in greater detail.
Without doubt one of your best videos. Thank goodness your ferry was delayed!
Anyone after an Insight? I hear there's one abandoned on the island...
Oh my,we will need two, maybe three other episodes on this museum. PLEASE!
Go to the museum.... forget to pick up your car from the car park.
Love the car caves…relaxing Sunday evening watch
If and when you go back, Jonny, please give Steve a proper introduction. He more than deserves it. Fantastic guy.
How lucky you were to be accompanied by a bloke who knows absolutely everything about everything before you! What a fascinating, eclectic and interesting collection. Maybe a return visit might be in order if you could arrange it. Thanks Jonny and more please 🎉🎉🎉
Fantastic episode Jonny, that museum on the Isle of Man is bonkers
Tesla in 2024: We made the Cybertruck all flat because you can't do shapes with stainless steel Cadillac in 1957: Hold my martini
At 38 minutes in the GSM (Glass Sport Motors) Flamingo belonged to Empress of Iran Farah Pahlavi, it was sent to a restoration company hear in the UK from South Africa where i was the mechanic who done the recommissioning, apparently it was her favourite little runaround but was getting bad mechanically from poor workmanship over there so came hear for a mechanical overhaul, lovely little project! The gold Lamborgini Espada a couple of minutes later was in restoration there as well at that time, lovely to see them again! 👍🏻
As Jonny said: "Go to the museum". I was there last year, and it's fabulous, and run by enthusiasts.
Wow, one of those videos you don’t want to end! Also, what an incredibly encyclopaedic knowledge of such a vast collection of vehicles. Mind blowing.
That is an astonishing collection. The curator seems like a nice chap too.
Please Please go back. And please take Mr Sniff with you to walk around with that gentlemen again. Thanks for the Sunday brilliance yet again
Steve, don’t be a stranger to YouTube! You could do a great series on cars, trucks and themes in the museum!
I love LOVE the Manx Motor Museum! You have to go back time and time again as one visit is just never enough. Well worth the entry fee ❤ 🇮🇲
My goodness Steve’s knowledge is outstanding. What a handy guy to have around. Not a single question he cant answer so far. Impressive.
Well looks like I'm booking a trip to the Isle of man thankyou jonny for showing us what we have been missing out! Amazing collection 🤟
