You'll notice that the 'ecoobd2' circuit board :24 only has soldered connections to OBD pins 16 and 4&5, or power and ground. All the other pins, CAN hi & lo, Kline, etc., are just hanging through holes that have no copper or solder on them. It's the same as others I've dissected before... it taps 12v and gnd from the OBD2 connector to flash some LEDs, but it has no other connections to the vehicle.
That cig lighter socket one made me laugh out loud. I was waiting for you to say "April Fools" or something of that sort. Theres no way that thing was ever going to do anything, because theres nothing for it to transmit data through in the cig lighter socket.
