Mr fantastic, not all children in the UK are like that. I'm jamaican and my 2 boys are very respectful, they don't call elders by their first names and I always feed back on how well behaved and respectful they are. So in my opinion, when some families move abroad they abandoned their values to fit and whilst others make sure their children are raised the right way. And even the friends they keep are respectful and I always vet them 😂.

Please British kids don't call adults mate. Mate is used for friends and/acquaintances. In some cases to someone familiar or unfamiliar (adult to adult as friendly gesture.). I have worked with and have children all around me, I have never heard any child call adult mate but can address them by their first name. For that child's age they address their teacher by Miss, Mr, or Mrs. before their last name. For colleges and universities, they address lecturer by their first name. In nurseries is either way. This video is wrongly scripted. Nigerians should stop painting children abroad bad.
