What the video doesn't show, is the Judge thinking that Mr Aroni could still be innocent, and that you need to prove your client 100% innocent of the murder. The Prosecution suddenly regains their composure and insists that "Yeah, you didn't 100% prove your client innocent! So Aroni could be innocent!". Mr Aroni suddenly regains his composure as well, and smugly/manipulatively says "I'm sorry for my outburst earlier. The death of my dearly beloved friend/loyal customer has had me deeply traumatized. I just want this trial to be over with, since I'm struggling to find the will to keep going...That's why I freaked out and pleaded guilty...". The case continues on for at least several more hours.

Honestly, considering the track record, every prosecutor in Ace Attorney should just ask the cops to make sure to investigate their chief witness. They are nearly always guilty.

You got to feel bad for Edgeworth. Every time he’s building a case against phoenix’s defendant, it always turns out that one of the witnesses involved is somehow the murderer. Rotten luck all things considered.
