the part about texture and "puffy foods" hit different - has anyone else noticed how the softer/crunchier something is the harder it is to stop? food engineering is wild and terrifying at the same time
I really appreciate this video. A lot of the comments seem to have missed the plot but as someone who has struggled with this it’s nice to see a video that doesn’t point at me as a failure while also acknowledging that it’s a problem I need to be aware of.
That “can’t stop eating it” feeling is very real—and it’s not just about willpower. Certain foods are designed (or naturally structured) to make your brain want more
Commenting to stay on healthy YouTube
the sonic branding blew my mind. I remember when I gave up diet coke my husband cracked open a can from two rooms away and I instantly started craving a soda so bad.
Thanks one of most important videos I have seen
The video has really opened my eyes , when it comes to food and what am I putting in my body!
Why’s no one talking about this guy being Dr Chris off of Operation Ouch 😂
This video made me hungry
I live in a car and have done for many years - no refrigerator, no hotplate, no running water; only an air fryer, & kettle are my main two appliances. It is so difficult to eat well because I have to use it quickly without being able to store it, so yes, I have put on weight, honestly stuck with what I can do to eat "healthy" that is portion controlled and balanced. I think I need help here.
The information has been there for a while now, they’re not gonna stop, so it’s up to you now!!
Another thing is refined sugar. Most people have no idea truly how bad it is for you. It’s very very very bad for you, and high fructose corn syrup.
This dr changed my life . His book is a must on the shelf and even for your kids
They clearly state at the end that they are selling "products", not food.
Great format. Not triggering.
Healthy food can provide beautiful life 🌿
this showed up on my home page, and i found it eerily familiar, but then i realized we watched this in school. im glad that at least where i live, we're being taught the dangers of ultra-processed foods, especially since a lot of them are marketed towards teens
In all aspects of life greed has completely taken over and will be what destroys this planet and everyone in it.
I am an ESL teacher in Canada. I've often wondered about a clear trend observed with our newcomers. Their health, their nutrition deteriorates after they've been here for some time. UPF and its effect on our nutrition fits in here neatly. (My students and I are wrapping up a unit on healthy lifestyle this week. Thanks for some visual content!)
is tht chris from operation ouch?
