Genesis design is refreshing. As someone who buys, I have read too many issues about parts inventory problems, As a realist, cars will break down (even under warranty). With that said, warranty problems become a parts availability problem. Owners are without their cars for several weeks because of a shortage of parts. My family has owned three Lexus the past 23 years - each requiring service under warranty and we never had to wait more then three days to get a vehicle back. For that reason, I've been hesitant getting a Genesis.

I like the Black Edition for Genesis they actually commit to the bit. It’s not “black wheels, black side mirrors, and slap on black label.” Also, watching Kiddo Muzio grow into herself and see her personality come out as these videos progress is awesome!

Great review Micah & Fam as always! This is a tricky one. I'd say the GV80 4 cyl/6cyl line up rather well with the GLE 350/450. I have a neighbor who went from GLE to GV80 and he loves it. I'd imagine the GV80 will be cheaper to run overall with obvious exceptions since both models have been on the market for some time. At this point the parent company (H/K) shouldn't be an issue as the GLE began as a Chrysler-Daimler mix (ML) that really felt far less upmarket. Wasn't really improved until the 2nd Gen GLE. Both models are excellent, but as far as features/performance per price (not including AMG Models) is concerned the GV80 win INHO. If you need the brand prestige, then only the Benz will do, for you.
Just bought the GV80 2.5T Advanced over the X5, GLE, and Q8. Less power and driving dynamics but way better quality and value at $65K

Nice but $85k for glorified Hyundai. I own Hyundai and have nothing against Genesis - just can’t get over the price point
I had the 2024 prestige and on long road trip car ride can get very uncomfortable and top of that, if your not keeping your eye on your speed you can easily hit 90 mph without even realizing. I had to get rid of mine and take a major loss. On the bright side you get plenty of compliments of the car.

Genesis is a great product, If you're not going to lease and you plan on purchasing go with a one or two year model depreciation on these is insane
