We got the numbers, and more! The 1,250-horsepower ZR1X has been through our independent instrumented testing, plus some damp track laps and a drift session. We even dusted the pavement this time. But how quick is it to 60 mph, through the quarter-mile, and around our figure eight course? Is X gon' deliver it to ya? Combining the 5.5-liter twin-turbo V-8 of the rear-drive ZR1 with an enhanced version of the front electric motor from the all-wheel drive E-Ray, the ZR1X promises the ultimate Corvette powertrain, with the Nurburgring lap time to prove it. Day 2 of asking for world’s greatest drag race to return and for it to include the zr1x
All I know is I want one
Waiting for numbers from Brooks.
That massive wing is slowing down the quarter mile. Notice the GM testing had it removed. Not saying it'll make the entire difference but it will make a difference.
Hyper car fanboys mad a chevy is able to compete with the big guns lmaoo
The Corvette ZR1x granted on a prepped track but with stock tires or and pump gas did 0 to 60 and 1.64 seconds and the quarter mile and 8.6 seconds
I miss the old motortrend
I have a feeling we're going to see a bunch of ZR1X vettes performing better than GM's numbers.
Incredible car. I'd imagine as soon as the tuners get their hands on them, we'll have 1500-2000hp street legal C8's in a year or 2 that will make this look slow. 1.7s 0-60, High 7's to low 8's in the 1/4, and street legal?

Trying to wrap my head around that gargantuan weight for a Corvette.
Some of the better carbon fiber wheel patterns they’ve done so far at CR
The death of the GTR
Prepped drag surface makes a huge difference too.
