Why didn't the teens mark, and therefore transfer their curses, to terminally ill people? Chrys was in the perfect position in the scene with the dying grandmother and Chrys's "death" in the same room. Also, Dean has an elderly grandfather and Ellie works at a hospital. I guess it's hard to write a horror story with intelligent characters.
I know that some people in horror movies are little weird, but how stupid do you have to be to see a dirty whistle that looks like a skull, carved from a bone and try to blow on that? Also why would you work on your homework in a pool with lighting so horrible that you can't even see what's in the book?
As a type 1 diabetic, the whole insulin thing is WILD. If you inject too much insulin, an ice bath and a defibrillator aren't going to help you. You are dead. The lack of glucose to your brain can cause hemorrhaging. It can cause you to faint, have a seizure, and die.
