The crazy thing I noticed about this show is that the show doesn’t have a lull anywhere. It doesn’t start slow and make you wait for better moments later. It doesn’t really have growing pains in the first couple seasons either. It never feels for a moment like there was any doubt about the characters, the story or the overall plan of the show. From start to finish it is the most consistently high quality show I’ve ever seen.

Couple of notes: 1) Junior only decides to tell Tony about Richies mutiny after feeling out the other capos to see who is more well liked. When he realizes Tony is the popular option, he severs ties with the mutiny. 2) Charmaine doesn’t divorce Artie over his “wandering eye”. He tries to enter a business venture (Vesuvio X Satriales: sellin sauces and stuff) with Tony, which is the last straw for Charmaine who is fed up with Arties willful ignorance of the mob ties associated with his friend Tony. 3) Paulie rats out Ralphs joke to Johnny Sachs due to Tony overruling Paulie over a payment split dispute. Not over his jealousy of Chrissy. 4) the killing of Ralph is in part due to Tracees death which you didn’t mention.

The absolute best end to a series ever. Its so clever and clear with just the right amount of ambiguity. Pure genius.

Damn, David Chase did a really good job. I guess The sopranos will be the best series not only today, but forever. The way he showed everyone’s character, like Tony seems to be a pretty good guy right now, but in the next few minutes you can see, that he’s a f*ckin animal. Christopher, Karmela like everybody have their good sides of character and bad sides. Expept for Livia, she’s a real as*hole😁. And I also really like different ways and situations, like it’s not series about the mafia only, or not about the psychology only, so everyone can find some interesting situations and characters for themselves, and I guess I also like sopranos because of there are no just boring side characters,Ted(from Breaking bad) is the perfect example of that, in the sopranos is no problem with that.

Many of the last names used for characters on the show are the last names of David Chases family and extended family. For example, his mother’s maiden name was Bucco and his grandmothers maiden name (fathers side) was Melfi. He also has extended family with last names such as LaManna (Feech) , Sacrimoni (Johnny Sack) and DeAngelis (Carmela’s maiden name)

In the episode in season 3 when AJ and his friends break into the schools pool, one the girls with them was Lady Gaga when she was a teen

The ending honestly made sense to me. The person in the jacket that seems suspicious is an homage to the Godfather scene. As Meadow enters the Diner, the story of Tony Soprano is over. He’s a dead man walking: either through death or FBI. What was mentioned seasons prior via AJ and Meadow talking about Robert Frost: “I thought the black meant death!” “No, white means death.”

This show is so good. I consistently forget I was watching fiction because the acting and writing are that good.

One of the best tv shows ever made! It’s timeless! Every character is played perfectly by the actors/actresses! I’m doing my yearly rewatch right now right now of “The Sopranos” so I am down the rabbit hole that I am here watching the recap like I don’t know what happens! This is a great recap!
