Gotta say, it really says a lot about the friends/Charlie not even being able to comprehend that she was bullied to such an extreme that she didn't do what a lot of teens end up doing, self-deleting, but instead she wanted to delete others. And she did manage to "talk herself down" as well. But nooooooo, she's the evil one for that?
Absolutely loved The Drama, especially enjoyed Charlie's character and how realistic his portrayal of processing and coping with the confession felt.
Never saw it…Won’t ever watch it…
As a young black guy transitioning from being in the streets I actually loved this movie instead of crime movies also makes me think about trying something new & that’s why I’m here. Good job I’m subscribing
It is good to see real live review from an intelligent perspective.
"You have the skin of a killer, Emma." 😂✨️
Rachel is one of those "friends" who, from the beginning waits for a chance to attack and drag you. They play nice until they find an opening.
To answer you question. Yes!!! Doing something terrible is much worse than thinking about doing something.
Not him cheating being overlooked by nearly everyone in the comments.... she didn't do anything, he DID
Great breakdown! Loved your insights and I loved the movie. I understand people not liking it, or it being uncomfortable, but I appreciate the choices they made for the film. I really loved it but I don't know if I want to see it again 😂
It’s such an ironic movie. It’s the curiousness; everyone planning to lie about what they actually did but dulling it down. Emma, being the empath out of all them was projected on the most. She told the truth. Which makes sense why she’s an empath. She was shown what could happen if she went through with it, and when someone else did she immediately learned the less. Joining that club, is usually what people do when they were once lost. And now she’s deaf, which is now her adversity. This was well written. Great movie analysis.
It’s annoying me no one’s mentioned that Rachel said the RV was covered in drink and porn, I think the kid WAS found, but she knows that he was probably subjected to some sort of abuse in that time. Also, I wonder whether Emma just doesn’t know how to be herself, as there is a constant underlying theme of her having characters and staying in character and she constantly is trying to restart herself or stay in character when her life goes “off script”. But thats my interpretation feel free to debate but elaborate!
I liked the video soon as you said NO AI. fuck yes, brother 🍻
My favorite part about this video is that there is no Ai in it❤️ You’ve got a new subscriber
I think that the friends were never friends and that Rachel in particular was looking for a reason to attack Emma because they were envious of her and Charlie. Fake friends.
So basically. Bullies vs victem. Bullies who tortured others suddenly throwing a fit because the victem THOUGHT of retaliation.
Always love hearing your takes on films!
Something else that I find interesting about Charlie is that his confession gets glossed over. Also, he’s a compulsive liar throughout the move and it’s never addressed.
I just watched it couple hours ago and I have to say it was really great movie. The fact those 2 amazing actors are gonna be together in next 2 movies just this year makes me happy and I can't wait for them. What a great story, what a great message and still... like you said... put with just the right dash of comedy undertone in it, so it's not uncomfortable to experience.
The point that I realized after watching the film is that people will make a drama out of one horrible thing in others to mask the horrible things in their life. Its been true for many friendships and families. Glad to see the drama dramatized.
