I am just back after watching Mortal Kombat II in the theaters and the first thought that comes to my mind is – what a spectacular fan service! I mean this was long overdue because after the first Mortal Kombat movie there have been few that could match up to the legacy of the video game franchise. This one is redemption, especially after the mixed reviews on the 2021 Mortal Kombat movie. Mortal Kombat II delivers on all the promises from the trailer. You get to witness the iconic duels, memorable catch-phrases and special moves, whacky comic relief, and most importantly, the true flavor of the video games. The movie was good but why are they trying so hard to not let Liu Kang be the chosen one. That’s like saying Goku isn’t the chosen one in Dragon Ball Z

Kung Lao vs Lui Kang is one the best fight scenes I’ve ever seen 🔥. Kano stole the show with his jokes. I feel like the next movie should be at least two hours long. Can’t get enough

Just got back from the movies an hour ago. It was DOPE! 🔥 Me & my mom definitely stayed for the end credits, thinking their would be another scene. 😂
Dude I loved Johnny Cage in this he’s my favorite fighter him Liu Kang and Scorpion are my 3 and I loved that by the end of the movie Karl BECAME Johnny Cage. I loved this performance

Just saw the movie - it was FANTASTIC. The audience loved pretty much all of it. Tons of laughs, fun, crazy kills. Near perfect.
Lui kang is the descendant of Kung Lao and the true hero of earth realm.
They did Cole dirty though. Throwing him into the acid pit lol. They wanted to leave no trace of him.

I think they are setting up Liu kang to transcend into his fire and lightning god form and are saving him to face shinnok in the third film. Overall I enjoyed the movie and how it is setting up for the 3rd film to be based on the MK4 story and maybe even through in the deadly alliance concept
Just watched it and am blown away by it. I am definitely seeing it again the movie theater.
