The thing that confuses me is the child AND the wife saw the storm so why is "assumed". Clearly he wasnt having a mental breakdown at all. Ive never heard of psychosis that accurately predicts reality. The end of the movie we're supposed to feel foolish for not believing him like everyone else.

The bunker needs an air lock, so they can go in & out.
The end is more like a middle
So General Zod came to Earth but has amnesia. While Kal El has come with the world engine hunting for him. Thats why the dreams....😮😮
