A tsunami that size would have pulled the tide out sooo far before it hit
Why is any of this happening? The bunker is strong enough to survive the seismic activity triggered by the initial asteroid bombardment but was ripped open like a wet paper bag by what... just like a regular earthquake?
Looks like it was directed by a hyperactive 6 year old chugging a double espresso.
So nice of everyone to just fight for the first two boats and completely ignore the 3rd until the main guys got on it.
The first one - a gritty, personal and cynical take on the disaster movie genre, not a masterpiece but nonetheless engaging and well executed, definitely a must watch if you like the genre. The sequel - despite the great premise of following the aftermath of the disaster we have a shitty, generic and cynical corporate synergy experiment to ride the lowest wave in search of profits, a bad movie from every angle you see it with abysmal logic and excuses for a plot, CGI from SciFi originals from 10 years ago and actors asking themselves what they're doing with their life. Not a watchable experience under any circumstances, it was probably just made as a tax write-off or even money laundering scheme. Just skip this pathetic excuse of a movie.
This movie makes you root for nature
