https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLEq_fPCBGNcvqHbSuYkjUdOMKbJc-EfUM In the last symptom of the wave of AI Animation in the movie industry, we have now reached the part where a fully AI movie has already been produced, over in China. This is The Reunion Journey. Falling flat on all of the same GenAI issues of uncanny motion, generic faces and unappealing execution. And furthermore, financially, it is no Ne Zha 2. And yet, the hubris behind these 'creators' brings up all the connections possible, under the lens of saving much money, and doing it faster. What a disaster. Here's how things rolled out recently. If they're gonna start making these AI films theatrical and there's nothing we can do about it, then they should at least price them at 1/4th the cost of a normal movie
We're getting closer and closer to the Cyberpunk 2077 era except without the cool neon buildings and futuristic gunfights
Me when the first ai move come out: Ah shit, here we go again....
belovezshchaya pusha?
It's not the first one. For example, there's a Belarusian movie called "Belovezhskaya Pushcha", which came out about a year ago
The clanker are taking over hallywood
The “first fully AI movie” headline matters less than the workflow behind it. A movie still needs human direction: story structure, character performance, shot choices, pacing, sound design, editing, and revision. AI can speed up parts of production, but without taste and intent, it just becomes more footage. The future I’m interested in is artists using AI as a production layer — not AI replacing artists.
I see "Doug, a dougdoug story" in your background. tough
I bet the money it did make was just because people were curious about what an ai movie would be, not because it actually seemed fun to watch for enjoyment
To be fair, many of those "thousands of workers" are underpaid, animation sweat shop workers who only do the job because they can't afford to produce their own animation independantly. A tool that could replace them at a fraction of the cost could put animation at an accessible price point. Imagine if a small group of animators could use AI tools for itweening or something and create their own full length pictures without needed to capitulate to a larger, risk averse production company.
I didn't even notice that its made FULLY outta ai
We should start calling AI generated images and videos "Computer Rendered Artificial Pictures" or "CRAP" for short.
Better than Turkish AI movies🥀
0:01 it look like a mobile game ads
Oh no, it’s happening AI kung fu panda rip off
Kung fu panda is disappointed
Kung fu panda but the producers were kidnapped and forced to make this with ai prompt
Instead of watching this AI slop everyone should watch the beautifully hand drawn animated Chinese film "The Legend of Hei". 1000% better than this
Kung fu panda on crack 😂
