I’m so tired of AI “art” 😩
The thing is, if you want to make an animated movie entirely in a computer without spending a ton of money on voice actors, you can still do that without resorting to generative AI. In fact, someone has. The movie is called Flow, it's about a group of animals coming together to survive a flood in a post-apocalyptic world, it doesn't have a single word of spoken dialogue, and it was modeled and animated entirely in Blender. Admittedly, the biggest selling point of that movie is that it showcases what is possible in Blender, but that's the point. Something like that is possible in Blender, provided that the human artist behind it knows what they're doing.

Even if we have a future where ai takes over. Im still going to draw, still going to learn to animate. I'll still create, even if i wont become one of the greats. I rather make my own work and be proud instead of taking all the credit from a computer who did it.
It's insane because some of the most crazy animations/3D artists come from China. To Be Hero X, Link Click, Lord of Mysteries, and not even mentioning the plethora of Gacha game promotional videos. China should be one of the last places for AI Animation to be popping up

This is the first time I’ve heard of this “movie”. As I love to say “if you can’t be bothered to make the movie yourself, why should I be bothered to watch it” especially if “studios” like the one behind this insist on charging for it. On the bright side did you hear? The Oscars ruled that AI is disqualified from their awards
