I have seen many dermatologists say to NOT do skin care on flights. Apparently, because of the dry air and extremely low humidity, it makes the products ineffective. Instead of hydrating your skin, humectants will pull the moisture out of your skin, making it even more dry than when you started. They recommend just drinking lots of water.

In Bordeaux definitely go to the D-Day bunkers and bomb craters. When I was little I went there and played in the craters and went inside the bunkers. It was so cool
