You've reached the end
Doug "not a porsche guy" tells us all about porsches
Doug is the type of guy who likes telling us about himself.
That’s pretty good starting pay in 2011. Equivalent to like 70k now.
Doug's the kinda guy who's not a Porsche enthusiast but worked for Porsche and owns a Porsche and loves talking about Porsche.
Making $50,000 in 2012 would be like making $72,000 today. That’s pretty good.
51K post recession right after school... Jeee Dough, there are seniors on that salary.
“I’m gonna put it bluntly” **the most vague beat around the bush description
I am SHOCKED Doug's job was all Excel spreadsheets and not a glamorous top Porsche salesperson
And we're glad you're here now. Very entertaining content. Thank you
Emory has long been ranked among the top 20 US universities. It's private and extremely expensive. And 51k for a 22 year old in 2010 Atlanta would have been comfortable. I believe his next job was at Auto Trader, another locally based company.
Emory is 70k a year tuition. Don’t tell me you don’t come from money
It worked out in your favor, but it had to be frustrating. Going to college getting a degree. Only to come out making half what you could’ve selling cars straight outta high school. The system of guiding young people into and through college, so they can make real money needs to really improve.
"I'm gonna be blunt here..." (vaguely says "I'm not more of a Porsche guy")
Doug is the type of guy who would throw a company under the bus just to say the company is the reason for his success 2 minutes later 😅
45k in 2010 is actually good. People make 45k now..
One thing I’ve learned is never work for your favorite car company. You’ll end up hating that brand happened to me now I hate Toyotas.
Doug’s the type of dude to get sued for defamation from Porsche
THIIIISSSS is your life Doug DeMuro.
$45k in 2013? That's $63k by today's standards
It's pretty funny that he made 45k-50k but they gave him 911s and Boxsters as company cars. I was making 50k a year around that time, and there's no way I could have afforded a new Porsche! Just a neat little job perk. I'm sure Porsche got a big tax break for letting employees use their cars.
