For about a hundred bucks more, I got the WiiM Ultra and the WiiM Vibelink separate amp. The Ultra has more inputs, including a decent phono input, plus expandability if you eventually want more power or a just a different power amp. Really liking this setup.
I like the visuals of the different speakers next to each other. It gives a real sense of how versatile this amp can be. What a time to be a poor audiophile!

My stereo is around $40k when it's all added up and I ended up using a Wiim Ultra streamer via USB into my DAC since it doesn't really make sense to spend more for a pure streamer. It sounds awesome - a huge value. I'm sure the amp is excellent, based on my experience with their stuff.
Got mine last November on a black Friday sale. It's paired with a set of Klipsch RP-6000F (original mk). Really enjoying it, handles HDMI-ARC, Google cast streaming, and my CD player audio just fine. Absolutely the 2.1 solution I was looking for.

i remember when i had the wiim streamer puck early on like 5 years ago, i would email them for support and bugs with soundcloud and they would respond immediately. Wiim was built on honest hard working people behind it, I am so happy to see them come so far in the scene

Thanks to your very relatable personal story and audio choices. I visited the local Bang and Olufsen store. I auditioned the Beolab 50 & Beolab 90, as part of their theater/music setup. They were very gracious with their time and knowledge. Your videos prepared me for what I was searching for. I must have spent way over two hours with them. I was blown away. I was not expecting what I heard. The clarity of class D amplification has surpassed expectations. When heard on 2-channel stereo, the 90's are in a league of their own, and I even preferred the 50's to the B&W 801-D4. Something I never expected. I may or may not purchase, but thanks to your incredible insight and enthusiasm for what you do. My world has options.
The room correction and subwoofer integration on the Wiim Ultra and/or the Wiim Amp Ultra should not be underestimated - especially if you use a UMIK-1 to measure. You can take an existing set of speakers and a powered sub and get them truly dialed in on these Wiim products, relieving your speakers and amp of the low frequencies and sending them to your powered sub instead AND using the room correction software to address the peaks and holes in your room. I am truly amazed what a difference the Wiim sub integration and room correction made to my system. Those features alone make it well worth the price.
Wiim makes some good stuff. I especially like the wiim ultra pre-amp.

All amps need an HDMI in port, with and HDMI out. Let's get with it HiFi industry...
If this had pre-amp outs, I would consider it. A WiiM Ultra streamer running into a more capable power amplifier would work better for me.

The WiiM Amp Ultra is everything I wanted when I bought my WiiM Amp Pro last year. That said, the WiiM Amp Pro has been in my bedroom running a pair of Klipsch Forte's and has given me everything I needed.
