At 27 years old I was sitting at a traffic light waiting for it to turn green. An SUV plowed into me from behind without braking. It shattered all the glass in the car and bent the metal frame. My back and neck have never been the same, but I was lucky to survive. Driving is dangerous but I guess living is kinda dangerous too. Glad you guys are okay and Happy Mother’s Day to Nicki and Carlo’s momma 💐
Wow the fact Carlos had the vest is so smart!!!
😢 I’m so teary-eyed at how terrified you and Carlo were as the enormous semi trucks and vehicles nearly came too close. Thank goodness for the guardian angels watching over you, Carlo, Holly and Indie. I’m so sorry for the fear that swept between you both and so thankful you’re all alive. ❤
Happy sunny Sunday everyone! And happy Mother’s Day! So thankful everyone is ok.
You had a very kind tow truck driver. He really helped you out
Your reflections on life when dog walking resonated with me. In February this year I awoke one morning to find my relatively fit and active husband had passed away in his sleep. No movement., no noise just gone. To say the shock was enormous is an understatement. I now find myself living in France with his dog my three cats and relying on my two adult sons to help guide me through life. I walk Sacha the dog every morning in a lovely wooded area next to the local chateaux, I meet other walkers with or without dogs , joggers, and cyclists. It is calm, green ,full of bird song and wild flowers. I take deep breaths of fresh perfumed air and tell myself, you’re alright, you can cope, you never know what the future brings. And this calms the distress and panic within me. I think you and Carlo handled your situation well and it has brought you to a place of reflection on life. I really enjoy following your channel, it helps fill my day. 👩🌾🇫🇷❤️
That was scary! Glad everyone is okay. It makes you realise how vulnerable we all are. Happy Mothers Day. ❤
Thank God you are alright!!!😮
OMG! at the car trouble and on the worst place on a busy road too. Carlo doing his best to prevent a Collison. Way to go Carlo.
When you have loss of those we love it makes you think hard about life. Our nephew was in the AA5342 crash as they were landing in Washington DC with his hunting buddies coming home. Jan 29, 2025. They were all so young with families. We lost his mother before she turned 50 back in 2004. You can be doing everything right and ONE person doesn't, or something breaks.....When I hear people say they don't like growing old or don't want to tell their age, I say you are a lucky one to be here still! Enjoy and be proud!!
Your experience resonated with me so much. We visited my brother-in-law in hospital yesterday. He was fit and well the weekend before, playing golf and feeling great! He then woke up with an awful headache and slurred speech. He went to hospital, only to be told that he had a large brain tumour. He has had surgery to remove it and is recovering well. As you say- life can change in a second….seize the day!!!! xx
Oh my goodness- I’m sorry you went through that but grateful you’re well. How scary!!
Thank you for the reminder of living in the moment and never forget how precious the people you love and how precious life is. God bless you ❤
I was practically trembling in shock hearing you recount this story and especially seeing the usually calm Carlo so upset. And seeing you with the dogs sitting on the bank knowing Carlo was risking his life trying to direct the traffic 😱. What an experience, I really feel for you both❤❤
Get rid of that death trap car its unreliable... thank god ye are all safe ❤❤❤
Nikki the walk on that trail would freak me out - glad your both ok ❤
If your car is a diesel, you NEVER want it to run out of fuel!!!😊
Carlo the gauge is called the Fuel Tank Sender Unit, if you're luck you can get to it by removing the back seat and you will see a cover, remove that and you will see the Sender Unit, if not then the fuel tank has to be removed to get to it, either way disconnect the battery before attempting to do it yourself. Because you ran out of fuel and filled it up again, you have to prime the fuel filter, located on the driver side near the firewall you will see a little nob on top of the fuel filter , push it down several times until it goes hard then start the car. I also advise you to change the fuel filter because it would have sucked up any dirt from the tank.
You know, I often pray for the YT'ers that I follow, and I pray for you and Carlo too. One of the things I pray for is safe travels when you're on the road - so thankful that prayer was answered, and you had angels watching over you!
We’re ALL so glad that you and the doggies made it through this! Safer travels forever 🙏
