Of all of the jump scares I expected from an indie horror game, an F-16 fighter jet was not one of them.

Saying this game has some "serious themes" and not elaborating further is like when people add the "Dead Dove: Do Not Eat" tag to fics and then don't put any other tags to explain why lmao Edit: okay, since I apparently started a war in the comments, I'm gonna add my stance: I *do* think you *are* responsible for properly tagging the Dead Dove fics you write, considering the whole point of them is that they are full of heavy and potentially triggering material. Your readers need to know what they are getting into and they need to be able to make an informed choice on whether they want to, or even *can* , read that fic. but anyways yeah this was supposed to be a lighthearted joke what happened T^T

I actually love the way the game dev handles the narrative. Even when you’re playing through the POV of the obsessive character, his actions still don’t seem normal in the slightest. When he’s hurting himself at the end and she’s crying, it’s *very* clear that she isn’t crying because she’s ‘seen the error of her ways’ or ‘finally understands what he means to her’ She’s crying because she’s witnessing something graphic and disturbing. She wants no part of this and he’s the one forcing her into this situation. I do think there’s a larger metaphor at play and that can definitely be down to interpretation -and yet this game still manages to make the overall experience very clear. So kudos to the game dev!!! ❤️
