What an upset. Strickland is an animal for taking this beast into deep water. He has improved so much he literally has dethroned the most dominant fighter in UFC history. Khamzat was the boogeyman for so long and finally dethroned. Strickland deserves this more than anyone everyone was counting him out.

Close call, both could have won. But Strickland was the best when not on the ground, rebuild Khamzat’s face with a lot of strikes, and aside from round 1 was well able to defend Khamzat’s grappling. Great match, rematch would be fantastic. Strickland was a good winner, Khamzat a sportive loser. Thumbs up for both fighters
