I learned along time ago to respect others opinions. If you got Lebron above the rest, cool. If you got Kobe over the rest, cool. Same for MJ. No need to downplay the other guy nor get mad at anothers opinion. We can all agree to disagree.

The goat is who you want it to be. It’s subjective. My dad’s goat is Kobe and ntn that anyone does will change that in his mind

The comparisons w/ MJ never just stopped at basketball. He has also been compared to the likes of Muhammad Ali, Babe Ruth, Wayne Gretzky, Tom Brady, Tiger Woods, Lionel Messi, Roger Federer, etc... Heck, the phrase "the Michael Jordan of" is widely used outside of sports, leading to a comparison w/ Michael Jackson even before they appeared in the "Jam" music video together.
