We need pundits that have played abroad and appreciate how long it takes to settle in. It takes time.
Bruno and Wirtz are comparable technically and in skill level (I'd still say Bruno is better but Wirtz is still grea) but the difference is in mentality. Bruno will run to the best place to recieve the ball and WILL try to create for his teammates, sometimes in insane ways. He will call for it, he'll demand the ball and he will get in the refs face if things dont go his way. 90% of the time Bruno is looking to create something. Wirtz seems to not have that trait. He's a safety first player like Odegaard, just a lot more skileld. He's a bit too passive to be Coutinho's successor and even when he recieves the ball he has one eye backwards to make sure it's safe.

Don’t forget everyone expected this last season. The players capable then knew that was their last shot. This season is the transition between the old guard and the new. This was inevitable with that many changes, give Slot some time to get his team together, it’ll take another season. But a Champions league spot is a result.
