Different views aside, he does make a good point about caretaker managers fully focused on match to match vs fully signed ones with all the additional responsibilities being a big difference. Ruud Van Nistelrooy also looked amazing as caretaker manager for Man U, fulltime at Leicester turned out to be too much. (granted that team was as good as doomed anyway)
All kids love the substitute teacher
Todays Take away - Ashley looks Young Roy’s not Keane on Carrick
Carrick should be assistant manager. Perfect position for him.
Clubs make people permanent managers without any games !? But a caretaker managers winning most his games isn't good enough? Crazy 😅
Offer him a one-year contract with an option to extend. Managers are judged on results—until those results don’t fit the narrative. Then it becomes a question of how “easy” they’ve had it.
Keane has a point. If Carrick had gotten Middlesbrough promoted then it would be a different story but as it is he hasn't proven much.
I love how Young explain him self just putting player's in there right position that's all
I thought we had experience coaches before..and how did that work out for us??
I think Roy wanted the caretaker job 😂😂😂
Keane is spot on with this..... Ruben changed the base of this team and when he left they were 6th.... The table toppers since then have been dropping points every week.
We have a terrible record of hiring managers so why think we could do better than Carrick right now.
They should have had him stay when he was interim the first time
What about the Liverpool boot room in the seventies that worked without any questions it seemed normal then and it worked.
All i hear there is better options like who
Look at Arteta’s experience pre Arsenal vs. Carrick’s experience pre-interim role. He’s actually managed first team football vs. Arteta who was only an assistant. I think he deserves to be given a chance full-time.
Is Roy Keane the best pundit for sky sports ? ME :There are better pundit out there.
He has to get a shot at managing full time. He’s working hard and it clearly shows in the players attitude!
Very healthy argument 😂they all got perfect views 👌 only time will tell
Bro is actually trying to spoil the present and clean himself for the future at the same time 😅
