I will take an underhanded one from him all day. I least that way I knew I had a chance to return it.
All very reasonable until.the body shots consideration 😂. Really, that shot is mean. I don't get so concerned by it though. There is a reason you don't see that often. A ball that comes one way can go easily the other. And anyways, it is not the best choice to win the point.
I think the word he was looking for was Exploit
Sometimes it's your only option for example when your legs may be cramping and you literally can't bend the knees on your serve. I say do it.
clicked on this video thinking "please don't let me down guys". And I've gotta say right. I don't know why I was thinking that. I had no business thinking that. Sorry gents. Thank you Andy
Nice loop!🔥
"We Look soft as baby shit" While sounding like a Diva 😂
Tactical genius 👀
It's basically a serve-drop shot so what's the problem? When you play a game you need to be deceptive
Yeah I do agree it's harder than boxing lol
If It's allowed via rule book, and the use of it enables victory...guess what? I'm using it.
its a sign of respect to the to do everything you can to win even when you are up massively. Going easy on an opponent is unsportsmanlike in an atp tour level match
“Genius” seems strong, but that’s still definitely the best answer
Win by all means necessary within the rules.
The only contentious aspect to me is if a player usually has a long serving routine, e.g. endlessly bouncing the ball, but then skips that for an underarm serve. In that case, the returner is forced to be ready throughout the bouncing, which will be a considerable amount of time over a whole match. It reminds me of the Cilic and Federer argument at RG about RF needing to be in position for the start of Cilic's serve routine, but RF questioned why, as Cilic takes so long to serve after starting his routine. Why does the returner need to be in position just to watch you bounce the ball 20 times?
glad he says it so directly, he's right
Fire take
If you hit someone, you earn a point. That’s within the rules, but I’m sure most people would find that unsportsmanlike if people used it as a tactical edge
It's not a horrible play. It's an effective play within the rules. Who's complaining? Oh, they're complaining. Make them respect it.
I wouldn't say it's a horrible play for Kyrgios. He has more success doing it. Breaks the rhythm of the opponent
