Number of games is goofy reason when you're just standing around.

Baseball is one of the least taxing pro sports. Thatβs why you can play 162 games

βBestβ is a rather vague and subjective term, it depends on what the athlete is doing. Soccer is hands down the hardest in terms of sheer endurance, football is more explosive bursts of energy, baseball is a more precise game, etc

Definitely not baseball. Baseball requires tremendous hand eye coordination and some rotational power to hit the ball. The hand eye coordination may disable many others from competing. But thereβs more to being an athlete.

I feel like Bo jumped immediately from βwhich one has the best athletesβ to βwhich oneβs the hardestβ. If I had to guess βbest athletesβ, I would say gymnastics, perhapsβ¦ or possibly swimmersβ¦? Wrestling could be up there. But Boβs sense that the long term grind of baseball is hard seems like a pretty good pointβ¦ just not really connected to the question he was askedβ¦

They're conflicting athleticism with endurance and stamina. You don't need athleticism to build endurance and stamina. Anyone can do that. You can be very athletic, but have awful stamina and endurance.

Bo knows better than to say baseball has the better athletes π€¦πΎββοΈ they play 162 games because the sport doesnβt tear the body down as much as any other sportβ¦ hell golf requires more endurance that baseball π

I get it. Over time that amount of games and traveling and having to focus on nothing than that game can also wear you down physically as well as mentally

Basically it takes 2 or 3 baseball games to equal the athleticism in 1 football game

Even soccer is high up there also. But ill say racing.
Yeah, he didnβt answer. The question question was about athleticism versus difficulty or arduousness.

I certainly wouldnβt choose Baseball as the hardest but Bo Jackson played multiple sports professionally at the highest level so Iβll definitely take his word over mineβ¦.Nobody should be arguing against his point when you a regular person like meπ
