This conversation literally made me cry and shake. I have had this urgency in the spirit to move in this wisdom but too much attachment to family keeps me grounded in nothing!! Thank you Apostle Femi for making this possible. For a young man like me in Ghana this isnt just a podcast...this is LIBERATION!!

When my sister was travelling to the UK, no one knew she had millions to travel 😂 but at home, we all eat rice and palmoil with no protein for years whilst my sister had millions. But she had a goal to travel and escape poverty Now she sends money home So what he’s saying is so right 🎉

AFL’s humility needs to be studied. It’s how he’s able to act naive so the guest can pour out all they know. ✅

I grew up in a house of 12:my mum, grandparents, siblings, and cousins. We didn’t have much, but we shared everything. From early on, we made a quiet promise: whoever makes it first will lift the others. When I came to the UK, life started to unfold in ways I never imagined. A man I met as a friend later became my sister’s husband after I introduced them. My sister, through her own connections, met someone who later married my brother they’ve now been together for 25 years. Another brother met his wife through a friend of mine, and I helped bring him to the UK where they built their life together. Step by step, connection by connection, we pulled each other forward. We worked hard, supported one another, and carried that responsibility with pride. But over time, I realised something important: generosity without boundaries can become exhausting. There comes a point where you have to pause, reflect, and choose yourself too. It’s not about abandoning your family. it’s about balance. You can love deeply, give generously, and still decide that now is the time to focus on your own growth, your peace, and your future. Sometimes, the hardest decision is recognising when to stop pouring out and start pouring back into yourself or you will end up being poor.

My late husband was always carrying families and friends. He had enough but later had issues and sold everything. We were broke. Friends left him. We struggled alone and he finally died and everyone moved on and left us. (Myself and three young children.). Today, the story has changed because I pushed and God's grace also. I give but I am also too nice. I give as my spirit lead. I told my late husband then but he was too kind to a fault. Thank God my last child is in the university now and I trust God to perfect it all. Let's actually focus on making wealth and understand that people will be fine without us. I don't take some calls till tomorrow. I always tell my children that it's my duty to leave wealth for them. And I trust God that will definitely happen. Thank you Apostle for this.

This was my elder brother's strategy. He disconnected with family for 8years but today is taking care of the same family . It works

There’s a real psychological toll to growing up “around” wealth without actually having it. When parents perform a higher class identity but deny the resource gap, it puts kids in an impossible position—expected to compete at an elite level without elite support. The hardest part isn’t even the lack of money, it’s the gaslighting: being told “you had everything” when you were clearly navigating scarcity. That disconnect creates pressure, resentment, and confusion about your own reality. Proximity to wealth is not the same as access to it—and pretending otherwise does more harm than good.

Ever since I started listening to you Sir, I've become strangely different. Things that didn't matter to me now matter. Things I initially don't pay attention to, now cease my attention. I can't believe I entered a Keke that has shells of groundnut littered all around with people sitting comfortably and I just couldn't hold it. I called the driver and asked him to do something about it and guess what? It didn't even take him time to clear it. Then it hit me, life gives you what you ask for. But how can you ask for the best if you don't know the best. Even the Bible asked "how can they be saved if they're not being preached to?". This is why I want to school at Oxford university. I've learnt that exposure is one of the quickest way to learn and enter a reality. Thank you so much sir, for exposing those of us here that are limited to these quality information the opportunity to know and see that there's more to God.

I remembered the first time I got my dad clothes, he was so appreciative, forgetting that he climbed mountains and swam oceans for us, he never burdened us..

Parents use emotional blackmail to manipulate their children, this is why every child must understand and study their parents critically and design an intentional approach respond to them.

😢😢😢😢😢😢 Ever since I listened to Apostles' message on " black tax," I have changed my prayer points, and my mindset has changed towards family and friends who are not carrying a positive mindset of rising from the narrative to greatness. God bless you, Apostle, for being a father to many
