Raising awareness about Gender Responsive Budgeting in agricultural policies
This discussion brought together farmers, civil society representatives, and national, EU and international policy actors to exchange perspectives on how Gender Responsive Budgeting (GRB) can help create more inclusive and equitable agricultural policies. The session aimed to raise awareness of the importance of integrating gender considerations into agricultural budgets and policy design, while highlighting the experiences and challenges of farmers and policymakers, and leaving space for dialogue and discussion among different actors on how gender-responsive budgeting can improve the position of women farmers in the agrifood chain.
