Not only does she not trust him, but he's likely done something prior to this argument that got her to think "I should change my password, he's gonna look through my stuff". My bet is that he absolutely broke into her device earlier in the relationship and he is trying to shame her for her distrust because he can't gaslight her into thinking that he would never do such a thing.
