I was diagnosed with PCOS at 13 and up until I was 18, my period was VERY irregular. One doctor told me that physical activities would help me… and believe it or not, they actually did! My period is getting better every year (I turn 22 next month) and I finally stopped taking birth control! I know every case is different, but maybe my experience can help other people going through something similar❤️
I’m from Iran, and with everything happening in my country, watching your vlog even for just a few minutes is truly relaxing.
a book club would be so incredibly cool, would be interesting to chat about books with others! just wanted to say as well that your videos are genuinely so calming and inspiring, just always a great watch with your content <3
congrats on your diagnosis! I had a diagnostic laparoscopy and was diagnosed with endometriosis for the first time about 2 weeks ago, after more than 10 years of symptoms. chronic illness can be so rocky to navigate, esp for women (and esp WOC), but a diagnosis is a great step in the right direction!
It's so comforting for a creator to be transparent about their health, especially when it comes to conditions like PCOS. Many young girls struggle with this, and it's hard to find someone to relate to, so many of us appreciate your openness. It gives many of us a voice we might feel is hard to express comfortably.
this is why we love people. Because they understand things and have feeling and bring our souls some comfort. There's no way an AI could do that. Loved it...
was diagnosed with pcos and pre diabetes this year and the best thing about it was finally knowing for a fact that what I thought was going on in my body was actually happening. i have a ton of medical anxiety and getting that validation from my doctor was honestly so relieving. i hope the diagnosis is able to give you a bit of peace of mind deb ❤️ thank you for deciding to be so open about it
If i start talking about the beauty of your vlogs i won’t shut up
hi deborah! i'm going to be honest, i haven't seen a single one of your videos from the past year, even though throughout high school, they were a lifeline to me. but i randomly went back on youtube and clicked on this and was immediately reminded about why i always found your content so comforting. usually i'd think "oh, a vlog. why would i want to see how much better other people are doing?", but your videos are just like a hug from a stranger. the style and tone over the years has changed, but the effect stays the same. i hope you keep creating :)
I love how you portray your daily life so beautifully
I've been diagnosed with PCOS for about 9 years now. There's always new things that I'm learning about my body and how it responds to her environment, but its fun! We all have our own path. Thank you for being comfortable enough to talk about your diagnosis ❤
I hope your health gets better deborah 🥺 i really enjoyed this vlog, i also really like doing yoga with adriene's videos and my favorite pose is shavasana too😭 it's the best
I was stalking your travel vlogs for inspo for my trip and boom new video
Thank you for talking about your PCOS journey and sharing ❤ I was diagnosed with PCOS two years ago and I feel like it’s still not deemed something serious enough to talk about, while it is still a struggle for us who live with it. I can’t guarantee it will work for anyone else, but my holistic healthcare provider recommended taking maca root, I have been taking 1/2 teaspoon a day and it has helped regulate my periods immensely!
thank you for sharing deborah <3 i feel so seen and validated watching this because i also have pcos (and was also obsessed with lovely runner...). this video was like a warm hug
i jumped at this notif cuz ive had pcos for 3 years and it just wont go away :,) i FELT that when u said ur doctor immediately suggested birth control; theres def better solutions that i wish doctors would prioritize first </3 i hope you're able to find a solution that works, thank u for this video 🥹
Hey dobo idk if you’ll see this and it’s kinda random but im currently having the worst migraine of my life rn, and watching your video was just so comforting and calming to me. Just wanted to say thanks for that lol.
yes pls! ive been wanting to join a bookclub for awhile <3
over the past couple of months you have become my favorite comfort youtuber, the US is so awful rn so definitely needed this calm video today <3
pcos gang </3 i hope it gets better, deborah!! you are so strong
