I workout, eat as healthy as possible, yet I am experiencing all of this. Yes the suicidal thoughts are a real thing. Women's menopause need to be taken very seriously 😊
I just want to give her a hug. I just spent the past 7 years dealing with this also. It’s scary and maddening how much our hormones affect all the systems of our body.
I don't know how this got in my feed. But being a guy, I just want to sit with her and tell this lady, "I will never know how hard this is for you. But, I'll gladly hold your hand and listen."
I feel like my whole body is against me. No matter what I do I feel uncomfortable, exhausted, mentally drained and anxious and I'm expected to go through my day as normal.
I can't even recognize myself. It's someone else inside my body.
I am 82 and I went through an horrendous time. You're talking about it. I couldn't even speak about it i.e. I couldn't acknowledge how I felt. My anxiety was off the scale. You will get better!! I just want to say, I send love and you will get through it. You will!!xx
It’s sad that women’s health hasn’t really been taken serious. I am hoping by the time my daughter gets to this stage think’s could be better.
61 years old and can’t take HRT from past cervical cancer and no matter how healthy I eat, walk, take vitamin supplements, my menopause is a living hell. My heart goes out to this woman and every woman going through this..
I can relate to this. Had no idea it was possible to feel this way. I'm a young-looking 48-year old who is fully in menopause. Others think I look and feel youthful, I put up a good front. They have no idea.
Menopause has been hitting me so hard lately. I feel like I’m losing myself emotionally and physically. I can't sleep, I’m constantly anxious, and I feel completely drained. The depression is overwhelming and I’ve had thoughts that scare me. I’ve withdrawn from people I love and feel like I have no energy or will to keep going some days. It’s not just hot flashes or night sweats it’s like my whole identity is unraveling. If anyone else is going through this, I see you. 🙏 Edit: ❤❤
Menopause is horrible. It takes away you. I do not wish this upon anyone.
I’m feeling like this poor lady in the video. I cry everyday. I feel like I’m aging so fast in the last year since menopause. I don’t feel pretty or sexy anymore . I feel so undesirable to my husband. I’m afraid he will leave me for someone else younger . Our youth goes by so fast.
I am post menopausal at 53 and I am going through all this right now. Add in a bunch of major family stressors and I am dealing with a deadly combo. I have lost who I was and now feel ugly, invisible, scared, and exhausted. I feel for this woman.
Menopause is so difficult. I had no idea. Thank God for platforms like this where people can share so others understand they are not alone. I can relate to every word she said.
She is so beautiful, i feel heartbroken seeing someone in so much pain. I wish i could give her a huge hug!
Today I left my male doctor for an ob/gyn. Visit her tomorrow about a combination patch of Estradiol and progesterone low dose because I can’t take all of it anymore. Brain fog, hair loss, belly fat, anger/rage, locked shoulder, high blood pressure etc. All menopause related.
I feel so flat and listless, I dont want to see friends or family , I find everything dull and boring . I cant walk down the stairs as my legs ache so bad , exhaustion, eating more. Its hard to say goodbye to my youth but I never knew menopause could have so much impact .
This is the worst time of a woman’s life. I don’t know how people get through it.
This stuff ain't no joke😢 I'll be 50 in a few weeks, and this is really the change of life for real! So much comes with menopause. And not just 🔥 hot flashes. it's so much more . It's up to us to let the younger women know what to lool out for in the later years 🙏🏿🙏🏿 i wish the older women would have sat me down and told me about this 😢
I love all these comments, because we are all going through the same thing. I used to have so much energy, and I was so active. Now I just work and walk the dog. Social occasions cause me anxiety. I have to focus really hard in work, my brain doesn't work like it used to.
