Im 25 unemployed, broke, lost in life, living with my parents. I feel like a complete failure, my friends are studying, getting jobs, wifes, kids and meanwhile i have got nothing going for me in life not that i even know what i want from my life besides playing videogames and binge watching videos.
I am so jealous of people with healthy brains
This came on the algorithm. I have been feeling suicidal. Love and prayers to all.
Walking. Walking 5km a day saved my life. Diet. Adhering to a strict healthy diet and not drinking alcohol at all. Saved my life. My husband died suddenly and left me with two children and suddenly needing to survive my grief while being a mother. If it wasn’t for those two things, diet and exercise I wouldn’t be here and my kids would be orphans. YOU ARE WORTH IT for anyone reading this ❤
I don't want to die, but it feels like I'm not being allowed to live.
It makes sense that a lot of suicide takes place in the spring and summer. I enjoy the dark winters and crisp autumns when nature is dying. Because it always matches my mood. But when spring comes around every year, and all the people are outside clamoring on about how nice it is and what plans they have, it's too much to deal with.
honestly that is the worst part. it isn't the wanting to die, it's the wanting to live but feeling as if you cannot. Therapy starts mondayy
I'm only happy when I'm asleep Life is the nightmare
you may have just saved a few lives, brother. kudos
My worst part of my day has been waking up
“Do it tomorrow “. And tomorrow, tomorrow. Best advice I heard for a while. I be 68 soon and been depressed since my teens. I know if tomorrow starts without me, the earth will spin on. And no one will miss me. No one will notice nor care. But I am still here because of a promise I made. Maybe tomorrow IS a better day to go. But not today
I literally came home from a walk. It was supposed to be my last one. I walked to the nearest bridge and called up my only friend to say goodbye. She didnt answer. I stood there for a while and had this battle inside of me. It was "Do it, noone cares" vs "No one will care if you do it so why dont just wait one more day". I decided to wait. Came home, hopped on yt and saw this video. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for it. I might not make it much longer but you gave me at least another week or so
What I love about this channel is that this video didn't turn into "... and that's why I recommend" with a ad for some product.
To anybody who's reading this, I pray that whatever is hurting you or whatever you are constantly stressing about gets better. May the dark thoughts, the overthinking, and the doubt exit your mind. May clarity replace confusion. May peace and calmness fill your life. 🙏 Tbh, what helped me most was the mindfulness exercises in Shift Your Mind by Alexander Brooks — I barely struggle with anxiety anymore since doing them daily. It really changed something in me.
I'm so envious of people who had healthy, loving childhoods with mothers and fathers that actually wanted to see their kid grow up to be happy. Getting shackled to neglectful or emotionally immature parents is one of the worst handicaps a person can be born with, and it's not even your fault.
I wish I had a healthy brain. Every minute, every second and every hour is a different emotion.
I am in a really bad place right now, thank you for this video 💚
I carry around with me deep sorrow and loneliness, knowing that nobody around me will ever know just how close to death i am every day. thank you for your kind words Sir. It means a lot.
As someone with chronic depression what I've found useful is realizing that the suicidal thoughts aren't really mine, they're a symptom of my sickness, which makes it a lot easier to use my internal monologue to fight back against it
"there's still a part of you that wants to be here" broke me. i really hate myself and i hate life but i want to live somehow. i wish i didn't hate myself and hate life. i'd love to live and be happy. and i guess i do want to keep trying
