I was prescribed these a while ago for depression and anxiety as well as some other things. The bottle just sat around as I never got around to taking them. Lately, it’s been another rock bottom and I guess it’s now or never to try taking this medication and see if it does anything to help my brain because alcohol surely isn’t. Meds can take several weeks to build up in your system before you notice anything. It's a good idea to write down what you're experiencing to review with your med prescriber. Both the good and bad so adjustments can be made accordingly.
the amount of people giving unsolicited advice when her doctor must’ve prescribed them for her is crazy
I hope these are the right meds for you. Trial and error is not a fun experience.
Proud of you, it's a hard thing to start
Me: "chokes"
I was depressed and had anxiety and severe muscle aches. Took vitamin D3 and K and for the first time in months woke up feeling at peace and with no muscle aches. Praise and glory to God for showing me a natural way to get my life back. Amazing!
I just read the desc too; you deserve to be rly proud of yourself for startin this now. It doesnt matter when you start; it matters that you started. Youve nothin to be ashamed of for not bein able to start it immediately; you only deserve to feel good for havin started now
Milk before cereal❌ water before pill✅
I started taking anxiety depression medicine too and only been 4 months or so. I've been in denial for years and listened to others - friends and family around me asking for me to come off those. (I was also taken them for around 3 years , like 5 or something years ago) I shouldn't feel ashamed however I did feel this way as I listened to others too much on subjects they didn't know anything about. I'm happy I take an antidepressant as they do help me and I can feel the change. Good for you. I'm a new subscriber and will follow your journey.
You’re so strong and brave. God bless you with all the happiness 😊
hope they help, ur brave to start them
My mom had depression for the longest time and took meds and when she stopped she got better almost immediately
I’ve seen docu’s of people talking about how the depression meds they were on for YEARS were only meant to be used for 6-12 months. Made them more depressed, other terrible side effects. They definitely don’t tell us the whole truth about meds.. Hope you start to feel better though and stay safe!
Good job, Rikki!! Hope these meds help you out
i secretly stopped taking mine(along with adhd meds) because they just didnt work for me, ive tried different meds, different doses and nothing has really helped. what actually helped me was stepping away from my "friends" and just people in general, i instead put more focus on me and my wellbeing. and although i still have work to do, id say im pretty happy rn. i hope they have been helping you!! :3
My two cents on Depression and Anxiety: first, I am a loving husband of over 35 yrs dealing with a spouse whom has suffered from Depression/Anxiety/Bi-polar for at least 33 years. it turns out her first symptoms started in the 3rd grade! I have been supportive and understanding listening and acting on the advice of dozens of medical professionals and Many psychiatrist through the decades. It was not until last year I realized any past treatments were just not producing positive results. Hundreds of medications later, glaucoma and hair loss, we decided to take a different path. I am NOT a medical professional so please do not take this as medical advice. We believe wholeheartedly that Depression/anxiety/bi-polar is NOT a disease but a "symptom" of something else. The drugs only treat the symptoms with massive side effects. 1. We are now under the care of a Doctor of Neuropathic Medicine NDM. 2. Detailed Blood work and detailed blood Allergy testing revealed stomach leakage as a result of a severe Wheat/Soy/Cabbage/basal allergy. 3 Her body was riddled with Yeast/Epstein Barr resulting in massive hormone imbalances and some brain swelling. Also her vitamins and mineral levels were totally off the charts "screwed up" 4. We are currently on a strict diet and supplements to restore her stomach microbiome and repair her leaky gut. 5. After just one month her taste buds began working, she can taste lemon for the first time in years, her mood is rock solid and stable, she is sleeping through the night, Constipation is completely gone. We will continue the treatment with hopes and prayers that her Glaucoma and hair loss will improve. Her DMD said he has successfully treated her type of glaucoma with diet. Patients have recovered much of their lost sight. Summary: Don't listen to MOST doctors (the ones that are not experienced in diet/stomach health) and especially psychiatrist (the ones that just push toxic pills that never order blood work). Demand they do they homework and perform MRI's/CT's on organs such as thyroid, pancreas, pituitary, Blood work, Allergy testing etc. It could be a tiny tumor or an allergy. Brain health begins and ends with diet and a healthy gut. If you are prediabetic or even worse diabetic threat that Immediately. Closing: we still have several years towards recovery but the bottom line is that she is recovering and on the correct path. In time we plan to reduce the number and quantity of medications but it will require constant effort. She has already been weened off of a highly addictive sleep narcotic after just a month. Prayers are greatly appreciated. Make the doctors do their homework. demand blood work and scans. FIND THE ROOT CAUSE
I know how hard it can be to just take that pill, I almost cried when I took my first. But you are strong keep going ❤❤❤
Day 1 today. I always thought I was strong and I don’t stress about anything. Always told my loved ones not to stress about anything. Here I am finally saying yes to my doctor as they prescribed, and took my first one today. I cried asking the doctor, “I just want to be a normal human.” I am 32.
I hope they help, Rikki. I was never able to take them, but I’ve heard they can be rough
It’s great you have something to help! Hope you get better!❤
