Day in the life of a self-taught painter and decorator — early start, a supply run, and a Leeds hallway that needed everything doing to it before a brush even came out. Lining paper coming away from the wall, loose paint on the skirting, craters around the door hardware nobody bothered to fill, a window sill that needed skimming. Rolled the ceiling while I was at it. Wasn’t even on the plan. It’s 2:20pm before I touch a brush. Normal day. Every material comes out of my £275 day rate and I’m not cutting corners on what I buy — if you’ve ever priced Mirka abrasives you already know. New to filming this. If you enjoy it, subscribe — it genuinely means a lot. #painter #decorating #diy #dayinthelife

Actually 275 pounds is quite affordable. I wish you’re in my area. I would hire you.
Most decorators are no where near your level of detail. Keep doing what your doing and stay blessed
£275 is worth the money for someone who is willing to display their work. It shows transparency.
Im a trained decorater myself. Over 35yrs now. I work with the same passion as yourself. Im here to say keep up with those standards you put yourself under. Well done fella, i am proud to say. Much love and a subscribe from me.
Prep, prep, prep 👌👍
Your attention to detail is what makes your work great. Keep it up.
Nice to see someone do professional and proud of their workmanship 👍🏻
It’s good to see someone who takes pride in their work and does a proper job 👍🏽👍🏽
If only more people took pride in their work
Working in the nicer side of Leeds 🤣🤣 didn’t know there was such a place 😉
Charge more. They won't find someone else that's as good as you. Know you're worth and value brother.
100% a deserved price, should be 300 really. Beautiful work
Brilliant, a painter who thinks beyond what he's told to do.Keep going mate !
You seem like a very nice honest lad, keep doing your thing 👏🏻👏🏻
My dad was a painter and decorator, taught old school were preparing the area to be painted was key, he never charged enough for the work he did and as a result everyone on the estate wanted him to do some work for them , he's retired now and knackered from all his hard graft at a job he mostly loved
Knowing your worth and taking pride in your work is nothing to be ashamed of. Especially when you literally put in the blood sweat and tears into building your own business and name for yourself. Keep it up! Much love to you
Lovely to see. For others' info, I recently had a painter round for similar works for a whole week. He spent the first 4 of 5 days just on prep - and the results really show. Keep it up!
Loving your content mate I really am. Keep them flowing. Your a massive inspiration
Cant wait to see the after. Youve inspired me to make the effort in my very rough hallway.
